Moonshide is a Progressive metal band from Barcelona, Spain.
Moonshide was born when David García left his last band to create his own compositions. After a hard-work year he decided to look for musicians who could complete the band and join to Moonshide: Luis Del Canto at the guitars, Alberto Del Canto on drums, Daniel Barros on bass and Mireia Cuesta at the vocals. From the first time Moonshide has highlighted, maybe for David’s hard-worked solos, the musicians technique or Mireia’s dexterity and power at vocals.
In April 2013 they released a free download EP called "Chains of agony" in advance of their first album EVERLASTING , out on November 2014. While the album's recording, David Garcia left Moonshide. The rest of the band continue with the project and look for someone else to replace David on guitars. Jordi Palacios was the chosen one. Finally on december 24th "EVERLASTING" saw the light.

Moonshide es un grupo de Metal Progressivo de Barcelona, España.
El grupo nació cuando David García, dejó su anterior grupo para dedicarse a sus propias composiciones. Tras un año de duro trabajo, decidió buscar musicos y se unieron a Moonshide: Luis Del Canto, a las guitarras, Alberto Del Canto, a la batería, Daniel Barros, en el bajo y Mireia Cuesta a la voz. Desde el primer momento Moonshide ha destacado, ya sea por los trabajados solos de David, la gran tecnica de los músicos o la destreza y potencia de Mireia a la voz.
En abril de 2013 hicieron público "Chains of agony", un EP de descarga gratuita, como adelanto a su primer album, EVERLASTING, que se espera para Noviembre de 2014.
Durante la grabación del album,, David Garcia dejó Moonshide. Aun así, el resto de la banda decidió seguir con el proyecto y buscar a alguien que sustituyese a David en las guitarras. El elegido para ese puesto fué Jordi Palacios. Finalmente el 24 de diciembre de 2014 el album "EVERLASTING" vió la luz.
